‘Narendra modi spoke well, but we don’t know Hindi’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke non-stop for 50 minutes and mesmerised the mammoth crowd with his oratory skills here on 29th Sunday at davanagere. The crowd responded well every time he sought an answer from them.

The crowd responded well every time he sought an answer from them. But there was a glitch. Those who responded to his questions were from the urban areas, but those from the villages hardly understood anything because they did not know Hindi.

Keshavachar from Nagenahalli in Harapanahalli taluk had said “We could understand a little bit about what he wanted to do for the country,”

Infact while dispersing, people were conversing among themselves about how it could have been better if somebody had translated Mr. Modi’s speech into Kannada.

Being comfortable in a language doesn’t mean you speak it among those who don’t know it unless you don’t know their language.

Thenewsism team feels that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should have arranged for Kannada translation. We request PMO and  BJP to ensure that prime minister speech to have translation whenever Prime minister delivers speech in non-Hindi speaking area.
