This is the Temple of Lord Nishkalangeswar located about 1KM inside the Arabian Sea, near Bhavnagar, Gujarat. This is full of wonders and awe. This temple is buried inside the sea. On a heavy tide day, all that can be seen are the flag and a pillar. It is beyond ones comprehension that there is a Lord Shiva Temple just under the fierce sea. This temple is still in use, and people visit this place on foot! The temple has 5 distinct swayumbu Shiva lingams inside. This is definitely one of the best spiritual destinations!

Everyday, the sea withdraws to allow pilgrims to have darshan of Lord Shiva between 1pm & 10pm.

It seems Pandavas worshipped this Sthala & in their memory 5 Shivalings have been installed.

The Stone Temple Flag (Kodimaram pr Dwajasthambham) is about 20 feet height which has remained undamaged in floods or hurricanes so far. Upto 1 PM everyday, the sea water level touches the top of this Stone Temple Flag.

After 1pm, sea level starts reducing on both sides & allows people to go & worship Lord Shiva! This is the speciality of this wonderful Temple, probably the only one of its kind in the whole world .

This is a wonder beauty. The devotees worship not many temples that are buried under the sea. However, this temple stands as an exception. Please visit this temple at least ones in a lifetime to experience the spirituality that resonates from this temple!
May Lord Shiva Bless us all with Happiness, Prosperity, and Health & Wisdom!!
